Manic MinerГод выпуска: 1983
Издатель: Bug-Byte Software Ltd Разработчик: Matthew Smith На других сайтах: WorldOfSpectrum , Wikipedia Управление: Q,E,T,U or O - Move left W,R,Y,I or P - Move right Shift to space - Jump THE GAME Miner Willy, while prospecting down Surbiton way, stumbles upon an ancient, long forgotten mine-shaft. On further exploration, he finds evidence of a lost civilisation far superior to our own, which used automatons to dig beep into the Earth's core to supply the essential raw materials for their advanced industry. After centuries of peace and prosperity, the civilisation was torn apart by war, and lapsed into a long dark age, abandoning their industry and machines. Nobody, however, thought to tell the mine robots to stop working, and through countless aeons they had steadily accumulated a hugh stockpile of valuable metals and minerals, and Miner Willy realises that he now has the opportunity to make his fortune by finding the underground store. Can YOU take the challenge and guide Willy through the undergraound caverns to the surface and riches. In order to move to the next chamber, you must collect all the flashing keys in the room while avoiding nasties like POISONOUS PANSIES and SPIDERS and SLIME and worst of all, MANIC MINING ROBOTS. When you have all the keys, you can enter the portal which will now be flashing. The game ends when you have been 'got' or fallen heavily three times. |

Hi,
Awesome post! Interesting info to know.
mine machinery
Manic Miner is one of my favorite and still one of the best game ever find nanny
Great to see Matthew Smith's "Manic Miner" on Myspeccy!
You can still buy original Spectrum's on ebay for under 100 quid, however with the games availabe here at Myspeccy and free software emulators listed at "World of spectrum" why bother with a rubber keyed original that is over 20 years old? Today cheap laptops can be purchased for under 200 quid, with 160GB hard drives and specifications to handle all of the games on Myspeccy. Using an emulator a cheap netbook can be transformed into a vintage spectrum gaming machine.

Ok, sorry :)
Your word is enough.
Please accept my apology.
Greets :)
Am not using any kind of cheat if you insinuated such a thing. ;(
Everybody who knows how to geting through all 20 levels once, can acheived even better score, all you need patience, persistence and repetitions.
If you spent little more time to practice couple of really hard levels, instead of blank accusation, you can beat my record without problem.
Of course i can repeat that or similar score in rzx, but with such attitude i expect nothing but more suspicions and empty laugh.
I like to play fair and my score in Dyinamite Dan 2 show this, or maybe i use Poke? :)
btw, nice score in Chuckie Egg, without cheat i presume? :)

Best record Pegaz :) you know 6031769 i see ?:)

It can be better, but i dont have more patience... ;)
This is still the best platform game ever. It's got all the essential elements but none of the pointless fluff that the genre later accumulated. Some of the levels are rock hard, especially The Warehouse and Solar Power Generator but they do succumb to regular practice and there's a real feeling of accomplishment when you first crack them.
